Simple Blogger Autoblog Tutorial
A quick tutorial about how to use RSS Feeds for your blogger account. A Simple Recipe with NO Cost.
I learn something new everyday, and I wanted to share this as a No Cost way of blogging to the bank.. Enjoy!
This method is best used with Adsense.
RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”
What I will show you today is how to use RSS feeds to populate content to a Google Blogger Blog.
The following method works well with a new Blog at Blogger.
1. Log into your Blogger account. If you do not have an account, then it is very easy to set up a blog with Blogger.(you can even set up a blogger account with a hotmail or yahoo email address.)
2. Go to: Settings / Email&Mobile and then look for “Posting Options”
3. Set your email up. Example: joesblog.SECRETWORD.blogspot.com The Secret word can be anything you want, Just change secretword to your word .. but it must be entered to make this work.
4. Make sure the radio button underneath is clicked for “Publish Immediately”
Your are done for now in Blogger. You have just set up posting to your Blogger Blog through Email. Yes through email.. This is a feature of Blogger.
(While you are on Blogger, you might as well set up your adsense ads on the “Monetize” tab. If you do not have a adsense account you can get set up through this tab. Adsense is a Google ad that you can make money from without selling anything. All that needs to be done to make money is someone has to click on the ad and thats it. You make money. Simple eh?)
What would happen if you had several hundred blogs with Hot topics? Ill leave that to your imagination.. Remember that Blogger Blogs are free to sign up for. Also, free wordpress blogs at Wordpress can also post through email.
With Adsense, there is a rule: Dont click on your own ads or you could lose your adsense account! The key is get traffic to your blogs for clicks. (more on this next time)
5. Now its time to find some topics that you would like to show on your blog. The easiest and most simple method is to go to Feed My Inbox This website will auto feed your blogger blog.
There you will see two fields: Website URL and Your Blogger email you just setup: joesblog.secretword.blogspot.com
So its quite simple, just enter the website url that you want the feed from. Note: the URL field is not where you put you blogs address. Please find a website that has a RSS feed on the topic that your blog is about. Enter the website address and the software will find the feed for you, or you can enter the RSS feed.
6. Once you have done the above, go to your blogger account and view your blog. This is where you will confirm the feed that was sent to you by www.feedmyinbox.com
Confirm the feed by clicking the link in your blog.. Guess what.. You are done.
Wait a while and you will see your blog populate by itself, and make sure you monetize with Adsense.
Note:
Please dont abuse this method or over post to Blogger blogs. Twenty posts a day is probably the safe zone for each blogger account.
Each Account can have multiple blogs. (I have thirty on one of my email accounts but that might be pushing it a bit)
Remember that twenty posts are the limit on each account so be careful.
