A backlink is an incoming link to your website. This is quite the opposite of an outgoing link, in which links are pointing to another website from yours.

Search engines use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of their factors in determining a websites ranking. So naturally having some strong backlinks from other “authority websites” will make your website look really good and popular in the search engines eyes.

There are several ways that search engines determine the value of a backlink. Backlinks from “authoritative sites” on a related topic are extremely valuable. If both websites have content related to the keywords on the pages, the backlink is considered relevant and will have a strong foothold in the search engine rankings.

Backlinking has to be done correctly to achieve quality results. The best way to build backlinks is to do it very slowly and naturally. Today, Search engines have a unique way of sniffing out backlinks that are inserted too quickly, many marketers shoot themselves in the foot by building these backlinks way too fast. This type of backlinking is not natural looking and will sure to get you nowhere.

In my upcoming course I will show how to build backlinks with the most natural results and how You will have a virtual army of followers backlinking and bookmarking your website pages. Forget about linkwheels, they are sniffed out too easily and are extremely easy to detect.

Instead you want to build a slow natural network of backlinks and bookmarking that will stand up against any search engine algorithm.
